Steve has worked in both the hospital and university sectors over the last 25 years, but has now taken a senior clinical pharmacist post based at two GP practices in Dorset.
He has been an independent prescriber for ten years and his specialist interests include medication safety, diabetes and managing polypharmacy. His work mantra is simply that of Henry Ford’s: “Don't find fault, find a remedy; anybody can complain.”Download transcript
Nicky has over 20 years’ experience, mainly in secondary care. She progressed to clinical pharmacy lead and led medicines management developments within Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Trust.

Shilpa worked as a community pharmacist since 1999. She specialised in sexual health and helped improve contraceptive services across pharmacies in Brighton over the last ten years.
She recently became an independent prescriber, which lead on to a change in career path and she is now working as a practice pharmacist in an innovative GP practice which combines wellbeing services from therapists with NHS GP services.
