Clinical pharmacy

Our clinical portfolio is expanding on a frequent basis, helping you to advance your knowledge and skills and deliver medicines optimisation in practice for all sectors of pharmacy. From two new focal points a year to our small group learning for hospital pharmacists – Optimise – this section focuses on clinical pharmacy, diseases and therapeutics.

Public health

The public health agenda is embedded in pharmacy, yet topics such as emergency contraception or stop smoking support are as prevalent as ever. As well as our public health workshops, use this section to access a wide range of resources to assure and maintain your competence, all underpinned by the Declaration of Competence system.

Leading for change online workshop 3 - developing your team and your services

The aim of this workshop is to enable you to build on the learning from the online course content, providing an opportunity to practice your skills and plan the next steps for your project.


Learning objectives

On completion of all aspects of this learning programme you should be able to:

  • practise giving and receiving feedback
  • outline the next steps of their work-based project
  • revisit their action plan linked to the Healthcare Leadership Model
  • create a development plan for the remaining three months of the programme.

How to use this programme

Our e-workshops are run online using Zoom video conferencing. When you book onto an e-workshop you will automatically be registered onto the Zoom meeting and will receive emails from the meeting organiser about how to join.
