Clinical pharmacy

Our clinical portfolio is expanding on a frequent basis, helping you to advance your knowledge and skills and deliver medicines optimisation in practice for all sectors of pharmacy. From two new focal points a year to our small group learning for hospital pharmacists – Optimise – this section focuses on clinical pharmacy, diseases and therapeutics.

Public health

The public health agenda is embedded in pharmacy, yet topics such as emergency contraception or stop smoking support are as prevalent as ever. As well as our public health workshops, use this section to access a wide range of resources to assure and maintain your competence, all underpinned by the Declaration of Competence system.

Online facilitation skills - online

The aim of this event is to ensure all CPPE tutors and education supervisors are competent and confident in facilitating online learning, and making it engaging and useful for learners. Participants will develop a top tips for good practice in online facilitation document, and have a set of solutions for managing challenges that may arise in the online environment.

Learning objectives

On completion of all aspects of this leanring programme you should be able to:

  • describe the differences between facilitating F2F and online
  • develop their own online facilitation and presentation toolkit
  • develop a top tips toolkit on how to handle challenges in the online environment
  • describe good practice in the facilitation of online learning and making use of the zoom functionality
  • reflect on constructive feedback to help them improve your presentation and facilitation skills online.

How to use this programme

Our e-workshops are run online using Zoom video conferencing. When you book onto an e-workshop you will automatically be registered onto the Zoom meeting and will receive emails from the meeting organiser about how to join.
