Clinical pharmacy

Our clinical portfolio is expanding on a frequent basis, helping you to advance your knowledge and skills and deliver medicines optimisation in practice for all sectors of pharmacy. From two new focal points a year to our small group learning for hospital pharmacists – Optimise – this section focuses on clinical pharmacy, diseases and therapeutics.

Public health

The public health agenda is embedded in pharmacy, yet topics such as emergency contraception or stop smoking support are as prevalent as ever. As well as our public health workshops, use this section to access a wide range of resources to assure and maintain your competence, all underpinned by the Declaration of Competence system.

Welcome to the ACPT sample online assessment. This is designed to provide you with the opportunity to become familiar with the format of the online assessment prior to undertaking it. There are 2 questions to practice.

Why should I do this assessment?

This assessment is part of the Accuracy checking pharmacy technician programme.

How to do this assessment

You can access this assessment online on your desktop, laptop or tablet device. We recommend that you do not attempt it on a mobile phone or other device with a small screen. It is important that you have a reliable internet connection for the duration of the assessment.

There is a ten minute time limit, so make sure you set enough time aside, have the learning programme and any other resources to hand, and can work through the assessment without interruption.
