e-assessment

Accuracy checking pharmacy technician online assessment resit

  • Released: 07/2019
  • Reviewed: N/A

This e-assessment is linked with the CPPE Accuracy checking pharmacy technician programme and assesses skills and application of knowledge in relation to the final accuracy check of a dispensed item against a prescription.

Why should I do this assessment?

This e-assessment will test your knowledge and skills as an accuracy checking pharmacy technician (ACPT). It forms one half of the final assessment, together with the workplace based assessment. Both halves of the assessment must be completed successfully in order to achieve a pass. On successful completion of both assessments, you will be certificated to practice as an ACPT. Access and successful completion will also contribute to your own personal development plan, be recorded in your My CPPE record and will enable you to complete a CPD entry on the learning. It may also provide evidence for achieving competencies in the APTUK Foundation Pharmacy Framework.
