multi-date workshop

Health coaching 2-day course

  • Released: 12/2016
  • Study time: 8h:0m

This programme focuses on building the conversational skills amongst health professionals to support behaviour change and self-management. It will enable pharmacists to understand how coaching can be used effectively within their clinical role, examining not only how to coach – but also looking at when and where health coaching is effective.

This course is suitable for pharmacists who are running clinics and will be delivered over 2 days with a 2 week break between day 1 and day 2 to enable clinical pharmacists to practice using health coaching techniques in their consultations. All applicants for this course must have passed the e-assessment prior to attending.

This course will be led OSCA, an organisation that has provided Coaching for Health training over the last six years to almost a thousand participants from almost every discipline across primary and secondary care.

Watch this short video to find out more about health coaching and how this approach can help you to have better conversations.
