The focus of this event is to explore the role of the pharmacy team in supporting people with dementia and their carers. This event consists of a Dementia Friends information session and CPPE dementia focal point programme. Dementia Friends is a national initiative that is being run by the Alzheimer's Society. Dementia Friends is about increasing everyone's understanding of dementia and the small things that they can do that could make a difference to people living with dementia. The Dementia focal point event is designed to provide you with a better understanding of the diagnosis and treatment of dementia.
