workshop

Consulting with children and young people

  • Released: 10/2016
  • Study time: 2h:0m

When it comes to consultations in a healthcare environment we know that many children are not included in discussions about their health. Involving children in the discussion may improve health outcomes and promote ownership of health.

This workshop is part of the Consultation skills for pharmacy practice programme which you can access via the Consultation skills for pharmacy website. It will support you in developing the key skills and behaviours you can adopt to make sure you communicate effectively with children and young people and manage the triadic consultation effectively.
