The public health agenda is embedded in pharmacy, yet topics such as emergency contraception or stop smoking support are as prevalent as ever. This learning programme focuses on delivering high quality responses to questions about medicines. The programme will help you consider how to gather information and formulate an answer that will be evidence-based, relevant to the enquirer and focused on improving patient outcomes.

Learning objectives

On completion of all aspects of this learning programme you should be able to:

  • identify essential information required to answer a medicines-related question
  • assess a medicines-related question using appropriate information resources
  • understand the principles of formulating a question answer and apply to practice examples.
