Quality is really important to CPPE. We are committed to setting and meeting high standards in everything we do, and with good reason.
We know that pharmacy professionals use our learning materials to influence their practice – and that places the burden of care for safe practice on us. We serve all of England, and that means we need to be able to offer a consistent quality of education from Cumbria to Cornwall (so to speak), online, in person and in writing. Perhaps most crucially, we know that our learners are working long days, and that means the time they spend with us must be time well spent.
So how do we honour our commitment to quality, and who precisely is ‘we’? Well, one special document holds all the answers, and its latest edition has just gone live.
If you would like a detailed and up-to-date overview of how we ensure and enforce CPPE’s high standards, then consider taking a look at our newly updated and expanded Governance guide. If – for whatever reason – you want to know CPPE inside-out, then this should be your first port of call.
The Guide details all of our ins and outs, starting with a brief history of the organisation from 1991 through to 2023, then progressing to a tour through our structure, strategies, operations and internal quality control teams. There you’ll find complete lists of our boards and stakeholders, and a breakdown of our various learning formats. It’s the who, what, when, where, why and how of CPPE.
