Launch of the Community Pharmacy Workforce Survey 2022

The Community Pharmacy Workforce Survey 2022 has launched. Health Education England (HEE) and NHS England (NHSE) are leading the survey to build a picture of the community pharmacy workforce. The survey will help to develop an understanding of the workforce on an annual basis, with the most recent survey completed in 2021.

If you work in community pharmacy, this survey gives you the chance to provide your insight into the community pharmacy workforce. Your knowledge will help to inform future planning and investment decisions.

The focus of this year’s survey will be on the number of staff, the number of full-time equivalents (FTE) and any vacancies in each of ten staff categories employed in community pharmacy. This data will help to raise the visibility of community pharmacy as a vital part of integrated care systems. It will also support HEE and NHSE’s work to develop the whole pharmacy workforce.

The survey closes on Wednesday 30 November 2022.
