CPPE is delighted to announce the launch of our new focal point for the summer 2022 semester, Type 2 diabetes: supporting people better.
The aim of this programme is to enable you to better support people with type 2 diabetes by applying the principles of the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance (NG28) into your practice.
The workshop provides an opportunity to discuss with colleagues how these changes can positively support patient care and update your knowledge of the management of type 2 diabetes, in line with new NICE guidance. Completing this workshop should help you and your patients to better manage this condition, including reducing complications and improving outcomes for people with type 2 diabetes.
You will work through case studies and clinical vignettes in small groups and a supportive online environment, facilitated by experienced CPPE tutors.
Type 2 diabetes: supporting people better is a two-hour workshop and is open to all pharmacy professionals across England. CPPE’s focal points are an excellent opportunity to share new ideas and practices with pharmacy colleagues from around the country.
This is an interactive learning experience where you will work with your peers and facilitators to explore the topic and enhance your learning.
Events begin in June 2022, and places are filling quickly. To secure your place on an upcoming workshop, please visit: www.cppe.ac.uk/programmes/l/diabetes-ew-01
