Time running out on Accuracy checking pharmacy technician applications

There are currently only three cohorts left to apply for a place on our Accuracy checking pharmacy technician (ACPT) course.

As we approach a new year, there are now only places left on the January, February and March 2020 cohorts,

The ACPT programme is a 3-12 month training and development programme that aims to support pharmacy technicians develop a range of skills including communication, leadership and accuracy checking.

The programme will also support the development of the entire pharmacy team, as ACPTs are able to take on accuracy checking tasks from pharmacists, allowing the pharmacy team to boost their efficiency and improve outcomes for patients.

In late 2019, CPPE's lead pharmacy technician, Jo Nevinson, visited a community pharmacy to meet Edward and Helen.

Helen has completed our ACPT programme: find out below how her experience has benefitted the pharmacy team.

To find out further information, have a look at our detailed programme handbook, and to apply for a place on the course, visit the CPPE ACPT webpage.

Hospital pharmacy technicians in London and the South East, and in the North of England, can also apply for places on the programme. Cohorts for hospital pharmacy technicians will run beyond March 2020.
