Would you like to feel more confident about supporting people with mental illness and learn more about how mental illnesses are managed?
Our Mental health e-course is an eight-week CPPE tutor-supported online learning programme starting Monday 7 January 2019.
It is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to support people with mental illness that you encounter in your practice. At the end of the course you will feel more confident in providing advice to people with mental illness and will be ready to deliver a high-quality service.
Each week you will be set a series of activities to help you to improve your knowledge of some mental illnesses and consider how you can use this to support people in your practice. We estimate that it will take around five to six hours per week to complete the learning and tasks, however this will vary depending on your knowledge and experience. There will also be opportunities to take part in discussion forums with colleagues.
Mental illnesses covered:
We will also consider mental illness in older people, children and young adults.
