NHS priorities

Whether it’s to prepare for the next Quality Payments Scheme deadline, or to increase your confidence in helping people with a learning disability, this section provides topic-specific pages that link to current NHS priorities. This section will support you in keeping your knowledge and skills up to date in order to provide high-quality pharmacy services and be service-ready.

Clinical pharmacy

Our clinical portfolio is expanding on a frequent basis, helping you to advance your knowledge and skills and deliver medicines optimisation in practice for all sectors of pharmacy. From two new focal points a year to our small group learning for hospital pharmacists – Optimise – this section focuses on clinical pharmacy, diseases and therapeutics.

Public health

The public health agenda is embedded in pharmacy, yet topics such as emergency contraception or stop smoking support are as prevalent as ever. As well as our public health workshops, use this section to access a wide range of resources to assure and maintain your competence, all underpinned by the Declaration of Competence system.

CPPE annual report 2017/2018 now available

We are pleased to announce that our latest annual report – for the 2017/2018 financial year – is now available.

The theme of this year’s annual report has been based around change – changes to the CPPE workforce, changes to the pharmacy world and changes to how the pharmacy profession engages with us.

The report focuses on our significant highlights and achievements in 2017/2018, as well as mapping our developments to the strategic goals of the organisation.

There are also in-depth analyses of regional highlights and, for the first time, additional summaries provided by regional teams in relation to clinical pharmacists in general practice.

As well as detailing how we are performing and publishing customer feedback, we have published our finance report for year ending 31 March 2018.

Our annual report for 2017/2018 is available here.

If you would like a PDF copy of the report, please email us and we will arrange for a copy to be sent via email.
