Our Foundation pharmacist training pathway is a programme specifically aimed at supporting newly qualified pharmacists to develop their knowledge and skills in community pharmacy practice.
The Foundation pharmacist training pathway will support you to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, behaviours and experience to deliver excellent patient care. Mapped to the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) Foundation practice framework, the programme aims to support you to be capable and competent in your role and ensure quality of care during the first stage of your foundation training – foundation stage 1.
The 12-month fully funded programme offers a comprehensive mix of online tutor-supported study, learning activities, workshops, assessment and work-based support through a designated workplace-based CPPE education supervisor.
The Foundation pharmacist training pathway will incorporate an element of workplace support and assessment, allowing learning to be applied, developed and demonstrated in a practice environment.
The application process will open on Monday 30 July 2018, the deadline will be Sunday 14 October 2018 and there will be a limit of 100 places. Successful applicants will be informed by 19 October. The programme will commence on Monday 5 November 2018.
