NHS priorities

Whether it’s to prepare for the next Quality Payments Scheme deadline, or to increase your confidence in helping people with a learning disability, this section provides topic-specific pages that link to current NHS priorities. This section will support you in keeping your knowledge and skills up to date in order to provide high-quality pharmacy services and be service-ready.

Clinical pharmacy

Our clinical portfolio is expanding on a frequent basis, helping you to advance your knowledge and skills and deliver medicines optimisation in practice for all sectors of pharmacy. From two new focal points a year to our small group learning for hospital pharmacists – Optimise – this section focuses on clinical pharmacy, diseases and therapeutics.

Public health

The public health agenda is embedded in pharmacy, yet topics such as emergency contraception or stop smoking support are as prevalent as ever. As well as our public health workshops, use this section to access a wide range of resources to assure and maintain your competence, all underpinned by the Declaration of Competence system.

New gateway pages now live

We are pleased to reveal that we are making some considerable changes to the CPPE website.

We have launched a series of gateway pages, which are designed to make our entire portfolio of learning materials more accessible and user-friendly.

The gateway pages can be found under the headings NHS priorities, Clinical pharmacy and Public health on our homepage.

In each of these sections you can find a list of more specific topics; each page contains lots of learning materials relevant to the topic, including CPPE learning and external resources, all on the same page.

So far, we have gateway pages on topics such as:

These are just a few of the topics we have available at the moment and we are still in the process of introducing many more.

Our gateway pages also allow you to see all the materials you have previously accessed so you can keep track of your learning.

Finally, at the bottom of each page there is a section where you can give us feedback on your experience of the gateway pages.

All feedback will be taken into consideration so that we can continue to improve our gateway pages and keep providing accessible learning.
