Health Education England (HEE) awarded the contract to deliver the education for clinical pharmacists in general practice until 2020/21 to CPPE following an open procurement process and the success of our education pathway for the phase 1 pilot.
The 18-month Clinical pharmacists in general practice education will equip clinical pharmacists and senior clinical pharmacists with the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to work in general practice as part of a multidisciplinary team in a patient-facing role. Clinical pharmacists in general practice can access a range of different study methods to suit different learning styles, three stages of assessment and support from supervisors and peers.
