CPPE has designed an efficient way to record the key activities and assessments you undertake as you progress with the Clinical pharmacist in general practice education. This will help you to track your progress with learning and assessments throughout the 18 month pathway. It is important to note that the series does not need to be completed in order.
Your education supervisor and the CPPE general practice team will be able to see your progress with your assessments and learning to inform quarterly review meetings.
Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is the responsibility of all patient-facing healthcare professionals. You must complete this assessment as part of your induction in your new role regardless of whether you have completed a local safeguarding assessment.
You may also want to complete the CPPE Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults e-learning programme to support completion of this assessment.
Record here the date that you have completed this assessment.
This e-assessment is linked with the CPPE General practice - the fundamentals of working with GPs e-course and assesses you on the learning objectives within that programme.
You will complete this e-assessment as part of module 1. The assessment has two parts.
Good consultation skills are essential to provide excellent patient-centred care in general practice. Completing this assessment will help you to check your progress and your ability to meet the Consultation skills for pharmacy practice: practice standards for England.
Passing the assessment will provide assurance to you, your patients, colleagues and other healthcare professionals that you are able to recognise both good practice and practice that could be improved.
Your Canvas e-portfolio is one of the ways in which you will demonstrate your progression with the Clinical pharmacist in general practice education.
Your education supervisor will review your portfolio as one of the methods of tracking your progression with your pathway.
