Welcome to signposting

As you will see from visiting the different areas of our website, CPPE provides an extensive range of learning programmes for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. We offer a variety of different formats for you to use, including open learning, workshops, e-learning and small group sessions, however we recognise that we are not the only provider of learning support for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. There are many benefits to you from multidisciplinary learning with other health care professionals to support the development of exciting new roles, such as Consultant Pharmacists and Pharmacists with Special Interests.

 

As part of our future strategy, we plan to deliver more learning support for specialist pharmacists.

To support your personal development use the signpost area of our website to allow you to find out more about some of the other national learning programmes that may meet your specific learning needs.

 

Please note that this is not the CPPE 'pub guide' to the best learning programmes for pharmacists or pharmacy technicians! We have not reviewed the learning in any of these programmes. And so we can't recommend any of them. We want you to use the information to facilitate your CPD. We hope to raise awareness of some of the learning available to you from outside the pharmacy.

 

It is as it says, a signpost: a flag, a marker. Use it to help you to find your way!

 

This is how it works

 

Programme leaders for the courses listed provide the information in this section. They make sure that it is accurate when they send it to us. We will review the data on a regular basis. However, if you notice any inaccuracies in the content please email us and let us know.
 

How to use signposting

 

• Select a theme from the Signposting portfolio by theme. Please note that you will find general diploma and certificate programmes listed under the Medication Review theme.
• Click on the programme title where you see the signpost icon to view the details of the programme.
• You will find summary information about the programme and contact details for the programme leader.
• Most of the programmes also have a web link direct to a specific programme or provider website.
