Support for enhanced services

We offer variety of resources and materials to support enhanced services

CPPE local solutions has been designed to offer commissioners and providers of community pharmacy enhanced services access to a range of free learning materials to deliver local workshops. They have been developed where applicable within the Harmonisation of Accreditation Group (HAG) competencies and training framework (CaTF).

Our topics include Emergency hormonal contraception and Weight management and some resources that link to generic skills or knowledge such as Communicating locally. For further information on how these resources can be used and a list of topics, go to CPPE local solutions page.

For some CPPE local solutions events, HAG recommends completion of a CPPE open learning porgramme and e-assessment as a prerequisite.

Many of our open learning programmes can be used to support learning for an enhanced service. They are designed as a self study programme and most can be downloaded as a PDF. Browse our open learning portfolio to see what is available.

Our e-assessments are challenging and will assess both knowledge and skills used within practice. Many commissioners will recommend use of our e-assessments as sucessfull completion can be used as evidence of skills and knowledge for a particular enahanced service.

We have produced a document in collaboration with the NPA detailing learning programmes and resources to support pharmacy service development.
