Where I work

We have developed our learning portfolio to include a wide range of programmes and learning formats suitable for different areas of practice within pharmacy, some are designed to support specific services. For a particular pharmacy sector click on the appropriate tab on the left hand menu.

Below is a quick guide to how we can support you with CPD while improving your practice.

Community pharmacy teams

Our focal point topics have been developed for communtiy pharmacy. You can attend a tutor led event or set up your own learning community with your colleagues at work.

Training for local services

CPPE local solutions is a set of free materials that can be used by comissioners to deliver training for common pharmacy services. They are linked to the service specifications from HAG.

Assessing practice and knowledge

Sucessful completion of a CPPE e-assessment in a service related subject can be used as evidence for comissioning bodies to show your suitability to deliver a service in that area.

Hospital pharmacy teams

Our learning@lunch programmes are designed for hospital pharmacy teams. You can attend a session at your trust which is co-ordinated by your CPPE key contact or you can set up your own learning community with work colleagues.

Prescribers CPD

We have developed a number of programmes for pharmacists who are training to be or are prescribers. We continue to support our prescribing colleagues with a regular CPD e-newsletter. Visit our Non-medical prescribers page.

Supporting PhwSI

We now have a number of e-assessments that once completed sucessfully can be used as part of a pharmacists’ portfolio of evidence for submission in that area to be a PhwSI or for an advanced level practitioner working in secondary care.
